Offering Prayer at Mass

To Place All into the Chalice with Christ

Lord Jesus,

As I prepare to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass,

I unite all that I am—

my prayers, sufferings, joys, failures, works, and desires—

with Your perfect offering on the altar.

I place them spiritually into the chalice,

to be joined with Your Precious Blood.

May every beat of my heart,

every breath, every thought,

and every act of love

be an offering to the Father,

made holy by Your sacrifice.

I especially offer:

Purify my offering, Lord.

Use it for the salvation of souls,

the glory of God,

and the sanctification of the Church.

Mother of the Eucharist,

help me to make a worthy offering.
